Private Residence
The Cliffs at Glassy Mountain
Landrum, South Carolina

The Midwestern owners enjoyed the Craftsmen style houses of Chicago, but wanted a different aesthetic for this mountain environment. The house is designed in the style of architect brothers Greene and Greene, who designed homes in California during the Arts and Crafts period.

The extensive use of wood in the interior and the owners' penchant for craftsman style furniture and fixtures complete the design.

Exterior materials include board and batten siding, stone and lap siding.
